ISO 14001 Requirements

To comply with ISO 14001 requirements, the organization must implement, document, implement, maintain, and continuously improve an Environmental Management System (EMS). The organization must also define and document the scope of its EMS.

The level of implementation, size of documentation, and necessary resources for the EMS will vary based on various factors, such as the organization's environmental policy, system scope, size, and nature of activities, products, and services.
